What you will do:

Operates under the immediate and direct supervision of the manager and/or clinical supervisor of the Behavioral Health Program. Provides behavioral health services as a member of the multidisciplinary team assisting with the monitoring of  and providing direct support to the  patients/residence in the facility within his/her appropriate scope of practice.


Responsibilities:

Continually assesses current condition of patients through observation, resident interviews, and group activity observation. Participates in regular staff meetings to exchange information on resident behavior/condition.  Collects urine drug screens, breathalyzer tests, etc.Assists residents in carrying out the treatment or service plan, which may incorporate various goals of physical, emotional and mental rehabilitation to help attain treatment goals.  Generally assists on weekends and evenings in the basic functioning of the program.  Provides guidance to residents in the compliance with house/program rules and regulations. May assist in group sessions.  Assists in establishing schedules and assignments for residents.  Makes recommendations to staff and/or manager regarding patients.  Observes confidentiality regulations at all times.  Serves as staff liaison with visitors. May supervise resident self-administration of medication, properly checking and documenting the administration of the medication.  Demonstrates ability to intervene and manage patient crisis according to SPHP policy. 


What you will need:

HS diploma or GED required.CASAC-T required.Strong writing and communication skills are required as well as knowledge of working with community agencies and managed care representatives is desired.Experience working with a diverse population and a strong understanding of multicultural issues is preferred.


Pay Range: $17.85 - $23.80

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
