Description Robert Half is currently looking to add a Sr. Accountant to our Full-Time Professional team here in the Triangle, NC area! Our Full-Time Professionals are a part of our loan staff division to our clients, where they complete temporary / project-based / interim resource needs for companies while permanently employed by Robert Half. We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of accounting experience. Qualified candidates for our role should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. Along with accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is highly desired. Role & Responsibilities: • Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliation including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Collections and/or Billing • Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation • Assist in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP • Maintain fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation • Recurring journal entries, maintenance and reconciliations • Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliations • Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner • Participate in various department-wide initiatives • Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested And, more!
