Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Christiana, PA are on the hunt for a Full-Time 1st and 2nd shift Floor Technician to join our team. 1st Shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (must be available every other weekend and every other holiday) 2nd Shif Hours: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (must be available every other weekend and every other holiday) Floor Technician Job Description: Provide and maintain a clean and sanitary environment by ensuring all floor surfaces are maintained. Floor Technician Responsibilities: + Perform proper techniques of floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, buffed, stripped or waxed, as well as carpet cleaning + Must be able to operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment to include but not limited to floor buffer/burnishes, water extraction machine, and carpet cleaning equipment + Follow instrutctions and work with minimal supervision + Follow established safety precautions for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility + Additional duties as necessary, as assigned by supervisor Floor Technician Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent qualification. + Knowledge of floor care equipment preferred + Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings. + Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
