FULL-TIME Hospice OnCall Visit RN - Overnights-Saratoga/Washington/Montgomery Counties
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Night Shift **Description:** **Full-Time On-Call Hospice Visit Nurse-Homecare & Nursing Home patients-Washington/Saratoga/Montgomery Counties** The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a FT RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the **homecare** and **nursing home** setting after hours. From comprehensive training to providing necessary protective equipment, we're committed to creating a secure environment for you as you deliver exceptional care in our clients' homes. **What you will do:** + As an RN you will visit patients who are in need of symptom management as well as schedule visits and coordinate with our team to provide end of life support to patients and families. + This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with a team (our teams include Aides, LPNs, medical directors and NPs with specialized expertise in end-of-life care, social workers, chaplains, complementary therapists and volunteers). **What you will need:** + NYS RN Licensure. + Associate's Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred. + 1-2 years RN experience required-preferably in homecare or acute care. + Previous hospice experience preferred but NOT required. + The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written. + Valid Driver's License and Reliable vehicle. + High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.​ Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
