Job Purpose or Objective(s): Perform any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.

Primary Tasks:

1.    1. Strip and remove all linen, terry, & trash from the guest rooms.

1.    2. Remove soiled linen, terry, trash, & glasses & cups from the associate rooms and sweep & mop each associate room assigned every day.

2.   3. Clean the guest lobby and vending area’s and keep free of debris and trash as needed.

3.   4.  Documents and reports all items in need of maintenance or repair work orders. 

5.C5. Check mattress pads, comforters, scarves, pillows for stains or damage and remove properly following standard policy and procedures.  Notify the proper personnel to ensure items are fixed or replaced.

4.    6.  Replace and/or move furniture to its original location and turn mattress. 

6.    7. Assist housekeepers with including but not limited to placing headboards, roll-ways beds, microwaves, etc.

7.   8. Restock the part of guest amenities and supplies on each supply room assigned every day or as scheduled.

8.   9. Monitor all assigned floors at the beginning of shift, throughout the day, and end of shift to collect trash and soiled linens.

9.   10. Report missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the office, supervisor and/or manager.

11. Retrieve all shipments from shipping/receiving dock and deliver and distribute the supplies to storage rooms. 

12. Deliver items to assets and community center as needed.

12. 13. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience: 

MINIMUM

·         Ability to understand the proper use of cleaning solutions and apply proficiently. 

·         Ability to communicate effectively and follow detailed instructions. 

·         Use and handle chemical cleaners in accordance with safety standards.  

·         Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools. 

·         Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
