Touro University’s Lander College of Arts and Sciences invites applicants to apply for a full-time Computer Science faculty role. Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate education and should be able to teach a broad array of undergraduate computer science courses. Computer Science Faculty will be required to teach four undergraduate classes per semester and mentor students. Rank and salary are dependent on qualifications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Teaching undergraduate computer science coursesMentoring adjunct facultyStudent advisementCurriculum developmentConducting scholarly research and participating in departmental and college-wide service activitiesParticipate in the development of new courses that reflect the evolving landscape of the discipline. Qualifications

Education/ Experience

Minimum requirements for the title of Assistant Professor include a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related discipline.Candidates who have only attained a master's degree would be eligible for the title of Lecturer.Applicants with a Ph.D. are strongly preferred

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Specialization and experience in one of the following fields is a plus:CybersecurityData sciencesAgile developmentCloud computing architectures
