Established in 2008, Huffman Family Eye Care is committed to providing personalized eye care services to residents and families in and around Paulding County. The team of professionals offers primary eye care for all ages, specializing in surgical co-management, scleral contact lenses, and cornea specialties. To continue growing financially while supporting a large patient base, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 10 professionals.
Ensuring a lifetime of clear vision is essential for Huffman Family Eye Care, and the practice utilizes advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and optometric products. The practice is well-appointed with diagnostic technology, including Optos California, Heidelberg Spectralis OCT, TelScreen Anterior Seg Camera, Medmont E300 Topographer, and cloud-based software for practice management and electronic health records. Additionally, several scleral lens fitting sets are available for doctors to fit their patients.
About the Optometrist Opening
Huffman Family Eye Care is seeking a full-time or part-time Optometrist passionate about providing exceptional care for patients of all ages, visual and medical diagnoses. You'll perform comprehensive patient examinations, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, and maintain accurate charts. On average, patients are scheduled every 20 to 30 minutes, and you'll have the opportunity to care for more depending on your comfort level. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of tenured professionals and care for a wide variety of patients. Our practice is open Monday through Friday, closed on the weekends. Additionally, the practice is advised by IDOC and Sharon Carter to ensure that best practices are consistently met. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
