Full Time Security Officer

Location: Denver & Aurora, CO

Rate: $19.00-$22.00/HR

Job Duties:

Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons. Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required. Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

Position Requirements:

18 years of age or older  High School Diploma or GED Required  Standard computer / technology skills needed Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus Customer service background preferred  Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift Must have great attention to detail  Must be comfortable conducting access control duties   Reliable means of transportation and communication
