Job Description:

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery

Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality

Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

Guides the team on work breakdown and execution

Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria

Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team

Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)

Required Qualifications:

15+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and testing real-world, enterprise applications specifically with Financial / Risk background

15+ years of hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design and testing

12+ years of experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.

12+ years of experience developing and consuming web services using SOAP or REST

12+ years of experience using JPA / Hibernate and also developing complex queries using native / HQL

12+ years of relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modeling concepts

12+ years of experience using Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins and Sonar

12+ years of working experience in hosting web applications on Cloud / Container platform

Experience in building the CI/CD pipelines in Cloud platform

Strong Experience in performance tuning and code optimization

10+ Years of experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices

Solid understanding of JavaScript functional programming concepts and modern front-end web development standards and best-practices

Experience in web development using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and client-side MVC framework ReactJS

A minimum Bachelor’s degree required
