Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 1 Functional Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire basis. This person must be local to Cincinnati and able to report to the office every M/T/W/TH. Key Tasks: * Functional Analyst will assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions * Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to complete analyze * Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling * Leverage Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to build and maintain custom reports and dashboards to reveal trends and correlations in large data sets * Implement row level security in the Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to enable secured viewing of the reports for designated job levels and locations * As a Functional Analyst, you will identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the data needs to execute department and enterprise-wide strategic objectives and initiatives * Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner, manager, and the team * Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making * Standardize and solidify our client's data processes and quality * Assist in developing business reporting * Increase data availability, standardization and automation processes * Problem solve and investigate issues * Participate in all phases of system testing Work successfully in an Agile Project across multiple feature and component teams * Complete estimates and work plans in Program Increments (PI) Meetings as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks
