Job Description:
**FINANCIAL SERVICES**
· The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of Cognos 10.1 experience
· They need to be able to work with business leaders to design complex dashboard and reporting solutions that will meet performance standards for both web and mobile devices
· The candidate will also be able to help translate these design decisions into implementable solutions into technical designs and work with an offshore team to develop and implement them
· The candidate will be serving as the technical lead across multiple projects, and will serve as the onshore lead for our client’s program
· Provides functional architecture expertise, in a specific technology area, based on years of extensive hands-on experience
· Ability to provides tactical strategies that can meet both current needs, but also have the flexibility to scale and adapt to future business requirements
· Plans and manages the high-level architecture strategy and design work for complex initiatives Maintains a network with architects at the technology vendors to provide the latest thinking around industry trends and best practices
Level 5 Requirements:
· Typically requires BA/BS or equivalent and 10+ years of related and progressively more responsible experience
· Leads on the formulation and application of strategy
· Applies the highest level of management and leadership skills
· Has a deep understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging technologies for the wider business environment
· Has a full range of strategic management and leadership skills
· Understands, explains and presents complex technical ideas with their impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
· Has a broad and deep subject matter knowledge
· Has authority and responsibility for all aspects of a significant area of work, including policy formation and application
· Is fully accountable for actions taken and decisions made, both by self and subordinates
