Complete Description:
The manager is interested in seeing candidates whose communication skills are considered to be outstanding. Ability to communicate clearly to non technical members is essential and required. Candidate will need to have solid experience writing test cases from use cases and have the ability to execute the scripts. Candidates that possess strong Business Analyst experience within Application Development environments is a plus as is experience using RoboHelp.
Role Description:
Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope.
Work with customer business units to understand their business processes.
Work with customer business units and clients to identify direction of application.
Ensure business requirements are supported by the application.
Liaison between customer business units and the technical team.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Coordinate these efforts with technical team/product specialists/programmers.
Understand supporting/interfacing system applications.
Understand prioritizing work based on business needs requests, application builds for work affecting the application.
Manage the accomplishment of delivery metrics, Service Level Agreements and other contractual obligations within areas of responsibility.
Coordinate and conduct project review meetings with Management, Group Team Lead, and Business Units as required.
Monitor and measure maintenance and development process effectiveness.
Communicate clearly the program/application goals, and policies and procedures to the technical team, business team, and end users.
Experience in using MS/Project. Required to maintain time in the NJ AOC IT contractor timekeeping system.
Must submit to a criminal background check and finger printing.
Proficient in developing requirement documentation, Use Cases, test case scenarios, and performing functional testing. Develop user and training documentation and manuals.
Experience in training users in application functions.
Ability to work well within a team and indivdually with minimal supervision.
Ability to clearly speak and write in English.
Strong interpersonal skills; abilty to work within tight deadlines.
Must have a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle to travel within the state of NJ to obtain user requirements and participate in status /review meetings. The Judiciary of the State of NJ does not reimburse contacters for travel expenses.
