FA is the functional expert/business analyst for New Jersey Immunization Information System (NJIIS) web application and is responsible for gathering/documenting and translating user requirements from users to the technical team.

The manager is interested in seeing only candidates that possess strong Business Analyst within Application Development environments abilities, but also where communication skills are considered to be outstanding. Polish and ability to communicate clearly to non technical members is essential and required. Formal OO Methodologies is required.
Years of Relevant Experience as a Business Analyst: 5 plus years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree
Role Description:
FA will perform the analysis, document requirements; meet with users for the software enhancements to include healthcare resource information from numerous stake holders to include in various modules of NJIIS. FA will produce some deliverables like Requirement Documents, Scope documents, Uce cases and change requests, Testing and Training manual and Reports for various modules of NJIIS.
FA will provide standard, well-structured work planning which defines scope, resources, commitments, quality, risks, and acceptance criteria. Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Understand supporting/interfacing system applications. Communicate and resolve application interface issues.
Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope. Work with customer business units and clients to identify direction of software. Ensure business requirements are supported by the software. Liaison between customer business units and the technical team. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Coordinate these efforts with technical team/product specialists/programmers. Understand prioiritizing work based on business needs requests, software releases for work affecting the application. Manage the accomplishment of delivery metrics, Service Level Agreements and other contractual obligations within areas of responsibility. Sponsor coordination of the required skills, training, methodologies, and processes to ensure the success of the team/project/program goals. Coordinate and conduct project review meetings with Group Team Lead. Monitor and measure maintenance and development process effectiveness. Communicate clearly the program/application goals, operational and organizational philosophies, and policies and procedures to the technical team. Communicate to team members their relationships between their work and assignments and the organizational and/or program objectives.
