Functional Program Manager (Part-Time) - Digital Transformation
Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Program Manager to oversee and execute a departmental optimization program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cross departmental change management and project management initiatives involving internal stakeholders and third-party vendors. This is a REMOTE position based on Pacific Time Zone hours, with occasional travel required to locations in Northern or Southern California. The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, for a 2-year commitment, with the possibility of an extension based on project needs and performance Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage project plans to optimize business unit operations and workflows. Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions for teams and stakeholders impacted by program initiatives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with program goals. Manage the transition of products, systems and workflows among internal stakeholders and third party vendors. Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience working in the project management field and documenting steps and requirements. Proven experience creating 1-2 programs from inception to execution. Experience managing issues with successful risk mitigation and contingency planning approaches. Experience building program plans from scratch and managing medium - large scale projects. Experience working with logistics regarding physical inventory, workforce management, system and process aspects. Experience working in the manufacturing or logistics industry. PMP Certification. Strong business acumen and stakeholder relationship management experience required. Experience managing third party vendors.
