Job Title: Functional Safety Engineer

Job Description

We are partnering with a cutting-edge renewable energy company to drive innovation and sustainability in the energy sector and in need of a Functional Safety Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing functional safety documentation in compliance with UL/IEC 61508 standards. You will work closely with our engineering and quality teams to ensure that our products meet the highest safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain functional safety documentation, including safety plans, safety requirements, and safety analysis reports, in accordance with UL/IEC 61508 standards.Conduct safety analysis, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.Review and approve safety-related documentation and provide guidance on safety-related issues.Participate in safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.About Actalent
