Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Fund Accountant. Responsibilities: * Process client conversions for a variety of new and existing clients * The Fund Accountant will support the team during fund mergers, including planning and testing prior to the event * Process asset transfers across advisors, funds, and clients based on direction letters received * Create ad-hoc reconciliations of Trial Balances, General Ledgers, Cash, and Assets, etc. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to support new client on-boardings and conversions * Assist in the completion of fund events such as launches, liquidations, and maintenance * Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and company policies across all groups * Create, maintain, and update procedures for client-specific deliverables * Work closely with stakeholders to resolve queries and provide first-level support * Optimize the use of available technology to ensure efficient operations * The Fund Accountant will report to management on MIS and ad-hoc issues that may arise * Participate in or lead special projects as needed
