Program Overview:The Carta New Graduate Rotational Program is designed to give recent graduates exposure to various aspects of our business, allowing them to develop a broad skill set and gain valuable hands-on experience. Over the course of 24 months, participants will have the opportunity to rotate through different functional shared services teams within Carta’s Fund Administration practice helping service our clients via teams such as Cash Reconciliation, Expenses Accounting, Capital Activity, and Investment Accounting.
This program is specifically tailored to provide a well-rounded understanding of our business operations while fostering personal and professional growth. At the end of the 24 month rotation, program participants will be placed full time on a functional shared services team or within our fund accounting teams based on business needs.

Training Sessions: Regular training sessions will be conducted to enhance technical skills, soft skills, and industry knowledge.
Cross-Functional Projects: Engage in collaborative projects that require interdisciplinary teamwork, providing a holistic understanding of our business.
Feedback and Evaluation: Receive continuous feedback to track progress and tailor future rotations based on individual strengths and interests.
Problems You’ll Solve: You accurately prepare work for all assigned tasks eg: capital call preparation journal entry booking for investments and expenses, cash reconciliations, etc. Find ways to continuously improve quality and velocity of work, partnering with our enablement teams, process experts, and product development teams on solutions Help identify opportunities for Carta’s functional shared services teams to provide an amazing experience for our fund administration customers About You: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Eager to learn about the Venture Capital and Fund Administration space Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel You have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytic skills You’re interested in providing best-in-class-service You’re interested in working on projects in a fast paced environment with a supportive team and as an individual You are a natural communicator You are comfortable providing and escalating feedback (as you encounter issues in your day to day work) You take pride in your personal development and growth Open to constant change and learning as we continue to innovate 0-1 year of relevant work experience preferred, including internships (Public Accounting or Fund Administration experience is a plus)
