State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is the fourth largest asset management firm globally. Global Funds Management is responsible for all treasury, fund administration, and reporting for our registered and unregistered funds globally. This includes valuation, board liaison and reporting, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, expense accruals, service provider oversight, new product. As such we are looking for a VP to lead and manage cross border registrations for our global fund range. Candidates must evidence a working knowledge of European fund structures. Successful candidates will demonstrate a continuous improvement and innovation mindset and be technologically savvy.
Why this role is important to us
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing all cross border registrations and listings related tasks (new and existing) in connection with our Irish, Luxembourg, UK and North American fund ranges. This will also include implementing and overseeing the framework for the appointment and ongoing monitoring of ancillary service providers required to support any cross border registration or listing, assessing for continuous efficiencies and enhancements of controls supporting the process.
Your scope of responsibilities will include liaison with the external registrations agent or external counsel as appropriate, working with the Irish Designated Person for Distribution as necessary, working with stakeholders to assess downstream impacts of new cross border related regulation and managing BAU activities alongside key stakeholders to ensure timely filings are made with host regulators.
You will lead the cross border registrations and listings process, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and harmonization of processes across ranges and jurisdictions. You will partner with key internal and external stakeholders cross border to develop and maintain a robust framework to ensure continued adherence of our funds to host regulatory regimes. You will act as a liaison to the external registrations agent and internal stakeholders, managing the information flow and pipeline. You will report onwards as necessary to key committees and Boards on any initiatives as required.

What you will be responsible for
As Fund Registrations Manager you will:
Be responsible for liaison with the external registrations agent, Exchanges, Representatives, Promoters and external counsel, managing pipeline and activity.
Enhance and harmonise the global cross border and listings framework.
Ensure timely submissions of all cross border and listings venue related filings required throughout the year by running the filings and securing inputs from SMEs as necessary.
Provide support to the Irish DP for Distribution on cross border related distribution matters as necessary.
Attend and actively participate in project calls.
Maintaining and fostering cost discipline on our external providers.
Create, maintain, review and update appropriate procedures and policies.
Review KPIs and provide oversight to external parties engaged by the Funds supporting the network of cross border registrations
Ensure timely execution of all BAU processes with a focus on minimising enterprise risk.
