As a Fund Servicing Analyst within the Securities Services Operations, you will be instrumental in assisting clients meet their regulatory reporting obligations. Your role will involve preparing financial statements, calculating taxable income, and preparing various regulatory filings. You will work closely with our clients and their auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and deadlines, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Possess in-depth knowledge of all team processes.Support preparers with audit packs, tax returns, financial statements, and other deliverables.Review and check deliverables prepared by team members.Ensure timely sign-off on deliverables to meet client and auditor needs.Prepare deliverables during team capacity constraints.Coordinate with Sydney Financial Reporting and Tax teams to resolve issues.Respond to Sydney Financial Reporting and Tax queries accurately and promptly.Lead knowledge sharing and learning activities to achieve zero errors in deliverables.Document and apply client nuances in all deliverables as the client POC.Lead projects for enhanced processes and productivity.Review and update SOPs, and ensure compliance with mandatory training and administrative tasks.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

In depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards ie: IFRSExhibits leadership behaviorsDisplays strong decision making skillsAdvanced analytical skillsAttention to detailsStrong organizational and communication skills, oral and written

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

CA /CPA, or Accounting Graduate, with 2-3 years’ experience in finance, tax or audit field, experience in the fund management industry in a tax or accounting role would be highly regarded.
