Funding and Risk Management Analyst (Credit Analyst II)

Summary Statement:

Oracle Financing provides payment solutions to help customers acquire Oracle products and services.  The Funding and Risk Management Analyst’s primary responsibilities are to review, evaluate, and provide written analysis of transactions with end-users to arrive at accurate risk ratings, provide approvals within delegated credit authority, and provide transaction structuring and pricing support to Oracle Financing sales.  The analyst will be proficient in conducting due diligence calls with the CFO of privately held companies including venture-funded companies, obtaining all required information during the calls.  Analysis, risk ratings, and decisions must be consistent with the financial institution market so that transactions are liquid.  The Analyst will utilize leading credit analysis tools in order to ensure the analysis and recommendations are accurate.  Further, closed transactions will be syndicated to bank partners, and the analyst needs to be able to explain and justify each transaction to the appropriate funding source.  The Analyst should have the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently with little guidance or supervision, and provide responsive support to the OFD sales organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Prepare written credit risk analysis in accordance with OFD Credit Policies and SOX requirements Conduct due diligence in a professional, thorough, and timely manner Identify transaction strengths, risks, and mitigants and assign accurate risk rating to the active customer legal entity and transaction Perform in a responsive manner while controlling risks Participate in projects as requested Obtain information related to financial condition and performance, operations, management, competition, and industry economics Work with funding sources to ensure funding liquidity once transaction has closed, for Oracle products and services Create and maintain neat and orderly credit files

 

Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English  Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines for deliverables and customer issues Ability to make independent decisions Intermediate level of software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to perform advanced financial and ratio analysis Ability to think analytically and problem solve Ability to provide appropriate structures and negotiate terms Ability to commit to and perform on the night shift and thrive in fast-paced work environment

 

Qualifications:

2-5 years of work experience in trade credit, leasing/financing with a bank, leasing company, captive finance company in a commercial credit analysis/underwriting environment Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBApreferred Relevant coursework includes Economics, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Fixed Income Securities Top academic performer a plus

 

Work Shift:  8am-5pm in California, equivalent to 12am-9am in Manila (or 11pm-8am in Daylight Saving Time)
