Job Description:At Regions, the Funding and Liquidity Analyst provides analytical and technical support to the Funding and Liquidity function within Corporate Treasury.
Primary Responsibilities
Assists with cash management responsibilities, including the daily monitoring of Regions’ cash positionDevelops cash forecasts and analyzes cash flows to determine forward-looking liquidity position and funding needsAssists in the execution of wholesale funding trades to ensure sufficient liquidity and cash resourcesDevelops daily cash position reporting and other monthly reports for oversight committeesAssists with the development of liquidity regulatory reporting, such as the Liquidity Coverage RatioMay contribute to projects related to system automations and enhancementsMay participate in meetings with Senior management, Risk management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Agencies, and other key stakeholdersMay offer advice and guidance to junior analystsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Economics, Mathematics, or Technology related fieldThree (3) years of experience in the banking industryPreferences
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science (MS), or Charted Financial Analyst (CFA)Experience in Treasury, Liquidity, or Asset/Liability Management functionFamiliarity with funding and the bank balance sheet management concepts for measuring funding inflows/outflows over timeSkills and Competencies
