Fundraising/Development Communications Specialist
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** The Development Communications Specialist serves as a member of the Holy Cross Health Foundation team supporting strategy and goals by leading communications of development-related information to donors, volunteers, clinicians, health system colleagues and the community at-large. **Education** Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field such as business, public relations, communications, advertising or nonprofit studies. **Related Experience** At least 3 years of related and successful fundraising experience, with demonstrated knowledge of donor cultivation and stewardship strategies and a strong understanding of the role of philanthropy in nonprofit organizations. Preference given to candidates with advanced writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communications skills. **Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** Must be organized and proactive with great attention paid to details. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to use word processing and presentation software programs. Knowledge of fundraising software applications is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience of success in customer relations.
