In this role, you'll play a crucial part in operating support equipment, ensuring process integrity, and maintaining high-quality standards across all furnace operations. Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are paramount in this dynamic environment. Shift Schedule: 6:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. / 6:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.Shift Rotation: 12-hour shifts; 4 days on, 4 days off. Rotate between morning and night shifts every 2 days.Shift Differential: $2.75 per hour. What You Will Do: + Operate a range of support equipment including Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, Vacuums, Scissor Lifts, and Power Tools. + Conduct furnace readings, rounds, and oversee process flow to maintain optimal operation + Uphold process integrity and ensure quality standards are met throughout all furnace operations + Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations and proactively identify and address safety hazards + Perform equipment preventative maintenance as directed and promptly report any mechanical or safety concerns to supervisors + Follow standard operating procedures to uphold safety protocols and ensure product quality + Utilize basic to intermediate computer skills for data entry and process monitoring. + Acquire knowledge of Collins and customer specifications, finished products, and relevant policies + Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned What You Will Learn: + You will be trained on the basic operations of the furnace process + You will learn to recognize issues with the process equipment tolerance limits + You are willing to learn and thrive in a team environment. Qualifications You Must Have: + HS Diploma.
