Job Description:
Location: Attleboro, Massachusetts
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Furnace Operators in the Attleboro, MA area!
Responsibilities:
– Operate and monitor furnace equipment to ensure proper functioning
– Set up and adjust furnace controls according to specifications
– Load and unload materials into the belt furnace
– Monitor temperature, pressure, and other indicators to ensure optimal furnace performance
– Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary
– Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of furnace equipment
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Desired Background/Skills:
– Previous experience operating furnaces or similar industrial equipment is preferred
– Knowledge of furnace operations, including temperature control and material handling
– Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work day.
– Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on furnace equipment
– Ability to read and interpret instructions and specifications
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make adjustments as needed
