We are currently seeking a Furnace Technician Trainee at our Cudahy, WI facility.
As a Furnace Technician you will be an integral part of a successful team that is responsible for various furnace testing (i.e. temperature uniformity, system accuracy tests, calibration, and furnace repair)
A successful Furnace Technician Trainee is a problem-solver and strong with troubleshooting, determining corrective actions, and identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiencies without compromising quality.Workplace safety is a core value and Furnace Technicians play a vital role in our safe operation and processes.
New hire must be able to commit to work on a shift rotation for the first year of training.
Essential Functions:
+ Required to perform furnace adjustments, repair and maintenance, thermocouple hook-up, calibrations and furnace certification.
+ Must perform furnace calibration, maintenance, etc., on die heater, ovens, box, pusher, car bottom for furnaces, baths/tanks, etc.
+ Required to do adjustment, calibration, and repair to combustion equipment and related equipment such as blowers, fans, piping, valves, regulators, and burners.
+ Capable of lighting furnaces and making proper furnace adjustments for uniformity.
+ Will do bench work and troubleshooting running repairs on all controllers, indicators, meters, potentiometers, various motors and relays.
+ Will also work on fume scrubbers and work in the Kolene facilities.
