Our client a leading furniture retailer & interior decorating company is searching for a experienced furniture sales consultant for their Sandton retail outlet The successful candidate would be one with a minimum of 5 years furniture sales experience
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales generation
Contributes to the achievement of the stores sales budget by Ensuring each customer is provided with a unique buying experience
Contributes to the achievement of the stores sales budget by Ensuring all telephonic customers are treated professionally and with care
Administration
Processing all sales transactions on the computer accurately
Completing daily cashups on computer system and manual procedure
Follow up on order/sale while in process until the items are delivered to customer and customer satisfied
Process appros and quotes on the computer system
Follow up on customer orders placed and communicate to customer
Maintaining filing system as per company standard
Assist with scheduled stock takes
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years industry experience in furniture retail
Matric
Must have excellent written and verbal skills be well groomed friendly and personable individual with exceptional personal skills
Must be an organised self motivated/sufficient reliable energetic efficient positive with a can do attitude and proactive initiative
Have a vibrant personality and excellent customer service skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office
Ability to work with minimal supervision and a strong commitment to meet targets in a dynamic team environment
Good time management and punctuality
Friendly and efficient manner which enables quick develop of rapport with clients
Clearly spoken with a good and clear grasp of the English language
Ability to manage irate clients
Professional and self motivated
Advantageous
Knowledge of Customer Relation Management
Knowledge of Interior Design
An interior decorating qualification will be advantageous but retail administration experience and sales drive is most important
Salary Market related based on qualifications and experience
