About Project and Development Services (PDS):

What the job involves:

We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Furniture Solutions to join our team. In this role, you will learn furniture design basics, project coordination, and design presentation skills.

As a Summer Intern in Furniture Solutions at JLL, you will:

Assist in developing design deliverables including tagged furniture floor plans, furniture specification sheets, and design presentations

Assist in sourcing finish samples for projects and/or team libraries as required by project lead and team lead

Provide administrative support to projects, including but not limited to meeting minutes, updating decision matrix logs, and logging vendor invoices.

Assist in scheduling and coordinating of project and/or team activities such as manufacturer tours and interviews

Program Details

Dates: June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025

Location: Washington, DC

Education, Skills, and Experience

Pursuing a professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design and interest in Commercial Real Estate is a plus 

Candidate should have completed at least 3rd year of undergraduate program

Understanding of interior design principals, space planning, furniture, finish materiality, and specifications

Proficient in developing visual presentations

Proficient in AutoCad, REVIT, Sketchup and other 3D modeling software preferred but not required 

Proficient in Adobe (create, view, comment on PDF) 

Positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must 

Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Independent thinking and work abilities 

Ability to collaborate with multiple individuals and meet deadlines 

Proactive and self-motivated mindset 

Highly energetic and able to work independently 

Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and presentation skills

Estimated total compensation for this position:

8,800.00 – 10,400.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
