This role will report to the Senior Vice President, ISC and can be located at one of the following US locations –Salt Lake City, UT; Casa Grande, AZ; Decatur, AL or Stamford, CT.
In this role you will…
As a member of our Integrated Supply Chain leadership team, you will implement a global manufacturing strategic vision to drive automation and optimization of our manufacturing operations.
Own strategic planning and program management for Hexcel’s Future Factory Initiative.
Ensure Alignment between Hexcel’s Continuous Improvement Initiatives and Future Factory Objectives.
Drive global cross-functional collaboration between key stakeholders including but not limited to operations, product management, quality, supply chain, engineering and R&T.
Lead the optimization of Hexcel's global footprint and identify key initiatives required to achieve Hexcel’s Future Factory Vision.
Develop and helps implement strategies to source hardware, software, and equipment to support the Future Factory initiatives.
Collaborate globally with Hexcel's executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.
Ensure that each manufacturing site has a detailed strategic plan of improvement aligned to Hexcel's Future Factory in a common format and managed through a recurring review cycle.
Incorporate emerging and trending technologies into Hexcel's Future Factory Initiative.
Oversee the development and execution of Hexcel's Maintenance Excellence Program.
As a strategic partner to our site operations leadership teams, this role will include ~50% travel (domestic & international) to evolve our manufacturing operations, drive automation & optimization, participate in plant level reviews & continuous improvement events.

Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus but not required.
Requires 15+ years of direct manufacturing industrial experience such as Operational or Plant manager experience with multi-site leadership as a key desire.
Program Management Skills are key to success.
Previous experience innovating and transforming manufacturing operations including automation, robotics, artificial intelligence or related.
Must be available to travel ~50% (domestic and international).
We Value:
Engineering / Project Management (Capital Projects) a plus but not required.
Highly skilled in executive presentation and communications.
Ability to take complex problems and form scenarios of potential solutions to enable a financially based optimized outcome for Hexcel.
Demonstrated capability to work and collaborate cross-functionally as well as influence with and without direct reporting authority.
Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
