Weekends: 3 hours total across Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Job Summary Responsibilities:• Provide care and maintenance for axolotls, including feeding, water quality monitoring, and cleaning tanks.• Assist in monitoring animal health and behavior, including reporting any concerns to the lab coordinator.• Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and observations.• Follow all laboratory protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and ethical working environment.• Assist lab coordinator with lab maintenance
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and follow protocols precisely. An interest in animal research and care. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Prior experience with animal care is preferred, but not required.
