Seeking physical therapist candidates to provide integrated educational based therapy services for students with varying disabilities, birth to 21 years of age. Applicants must have at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist from the Maryland State Board of Examiners.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of basic principles of physical therapy and of human behavior norms, abnormalities and deficits; the application of physical therapy principles and practices as these apply to handicapped children, laws and bylaws covering the education of handicapped children and the education system of the state. Ability to treat children and relate the program to that of other service providers within the educational setting and the home. Skill in oral and written communications. Excellent human relations skills.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in physical therapy. The school must have been approved in the year of graduation by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association. Additional instruction in neurodevelopmental training, PL 94-142, Maryland Bylaw 13-04-01, and the role of the physical therapist in the public school is desirable.
