Summary of the Position: The Quality Technician I performs quality checks in a timely manner for raw, work in process, and finished product through inspection, laboratory analysis, organoleptic testing and packaging status verification to ensure consistency. Functions of the Position:% of Time

Performs analysis on processing and packaging goods in a timely manner. Analyzes visual, organoleptic, weight, size, moisture, and salt to ensure consistency, checks processing lines for type of product, correctness of labels, and date codes, lids, and over cap color.

Conduct metal detection and other CCP verification testing.

Performs Post-sanitation inspections and ATP testing on production lines.

Enters data for analysis, holds, and equipment check outs.

Conduct pathogen environmental swabbing.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent required.Food quality experience is preferred.Skills and Competencies:
Must be able to eat any snack product or nut variety.Attention to detail.Good record keeping.Basic math skills.Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
