**Job Title: Gage Tech (2nd Shift)** **Job Description** **What You Will Be Doing:** + The Gage Technician/Quality Inspector supports manufacturing operations and is responsible for controlling measuring equipment, gages, and checking fixtures used in the manufacturing plant. **Job Description:** + Maintain and service Gages and related equipment used by production team + Install/Un-Install, exchange, and/or clean gages + Perform audits + Conduct inventory checks + Fill out necessary forms and EOS reports + Work with Gage engineers to support the production team + Perform PM's on gages and gage benches + General housekeeping and cleaning of gage office and other areas **Work Environment** + 3rd party quality inspection company inside of General Motors + Automotive facility, large and requires extensive walking + Non-climate controlled + Need one laborer on 2nd shift + Training on day shift is the normal protocol to ensure proper training and learning + $20.82 starting pay + Steel-toed shoes required in facility + High visibility vests are provided **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
