Required:

Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python programming, including object-oriented principles and libraries used in game development (e.g., Pygame, PyKyra, Panda3D).

Game Development Experience: Previous experience in developing video games, using Python and recent Django experience.

Game Engine Knowledge: Familiarity with game engines (such as Pygame or Panda3D) and game design principles.

Creativity and Innovation: Ability to think creatively to build engaging and unique gameplay experiences.

Understanding of Game Mechanics: Knowledge of game logic, physics, AI systems, and level design.

Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift to 15 lbs., as neededMust be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, the ability to tolerate fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.
