The Gaming Supervisor supervises the daily operation of a shift including Gaming Attendants, Game Dispatchers and Technicians.  Assist guests in every way possible in order to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Duties And Responsibilities

Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Protects all assets with Gaming Department Ensures that all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Tribal Internal and Minimum Internal Control Standards, Company Expectations and Safety Policies are adhered to at all times without deviation Ensures the physical condition of the gaming floor premises is maintained in a safe, clean appearance Maintains awareness and effectively communicates to staff, property-wide/company promotions, events and programs Resets machines and repairs minor malfunctions on games Performs functions of Gaming Attendants including verifying transactions as needed; Issues patron complimentaries in accordance with established guidelines Assures compliance with all Internal Controls as well as Company, departmental and safety policies, procedures and regulations Maintains effective communication with all casino and property personnel as required Works effectively with other casino support personnel to ensure guest satisfaction and service quality Ensures that all logs, shift reports, documents and other required paper work and forms are completed timely, accurately and are routed properly Performs TITO fills and verifies jackpots as required by Minimum Internal Control procedures Resolves employee and/or guest issues that arise during the shift; Communicates and escalates issues are warranted Coaches, recognizes and holds employees accountable for meeting or exceeding the goals Develops and monitors work schedules for Gaming Attendants Interviews, hires and trains employees; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and coaches employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems Directly supervises Game Attendants; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the SOP’s, MICS, TICS and expectation guide Associate’s Degree in Related field– required Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department– required OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– required Six (6) months gaming floor experience– preferred Word and Excel skills required (a skills test will be administered and must successfully pass with a 70% or above)- required Must successfully take and pass a timed math skills test Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition Must be able to walk for the duration of the shift and at times may have to bend, stoop and kneel Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds required Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, promotions and holidays Willing and able to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
