About the Role & Program:
The Walt Disney Company's games business is one of the world's largest licensors of games across platforms. Our games teams work closely with external development studios to create original stories through high-quality games inspired by the worlds of the Disney, Pixar, and 20th.
The Walt Disney Games Brand Relations team partners with production, creative, and marketing in the Disney Game to deliver world-class games for Disney, Pixar, and 20th.
Working with the Walt Disney Games Brand Relations team, you will work on assigned titles within the Walt Disney Games business. Your internship plays a critical role in coordinating schedules, details, notes, and deliverables across all assigned titles in a collaborative, organized, and timely fashion while also gaining firsthand experience of the Disney, Pixar, and 20th brands.
What You Will Do:
Support the Disney, Pixar, and 20th Games team in production, creative, and marketing providing content and reference for all Disney, Pixar, and 20th Games titles
Support the routing/approvals of assets with Disney Games production, creative, and marketing teams
Support cross-functional teams (Production, Creative, PR, Marketing) to secure feedback/approvals on all submissions
Maintain asset management tools/directories to track/coordinate deliverables
Ability to learn or existing knowledge of project management tools such as Airtable/Zendesk/Other Production software
Track all asset deliveries and ensure on-time deliverables for assigned titles
Support product mobilization submissions and asset distribution for products
Support Brand Relations leads on incoming/outgoing requests/approvals
Develop knowledge of brand relations partnerships, process, and the brands
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to think pragmatically, not just theoretically, and implement ideas
Strong teamwork capabilities and organizational skills with an eye for detail and thoroughness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in and passion for games, digital, and interactive experiences industries
Demonstrated affinity and familiarity with Disney, Pixar, and 20th Brands
Education:
Currently working toward a degree in Brand Management, Gaming, Digital Media or related fields
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9 am - 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
