This position is responsible for the daily repair, maintenance and operation of the slot machines, slot data collection system, progressive control systems, shufflers, chippers, table layouts and Plexi-glass projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
Demonstrates and adherence to Slot Operations Customer Service Standards, our Core Values and the Spirit of AquaiResponsible for the daily repair, maintenance and operation of the slot machines, slot data collection system, progressive control systems and related equipmentRepairs and maintains shufflers, chippers, and any electronic items pertaining to gaming equipment and tablesPerforms repairs on Plexi-glass including the fabrication of Plexi-glass related project requestsPerforms routine as well as in-depth troubleshooting and maintenance on low voltage electro-mechanical table game equipmentDocuments and reports all daily activities and repairs conducted during the shiftSafeguards against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all Tribal assetsReports any concerns that may affect the operation to managementSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles complaints according to established company and department policies and proceduresMaintains a clean and safe environmentResponsible for all department logs and labor recording pertinent to the day-to-day job dutiesAssists departmental Directors with special projects, as neededMinimum Education and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of electricity and mechanical equipmentCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Good written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsThorough understanding of the slot machines, systems and related equipmentKnowledge of the property layout including pits, sections, and zonesTraining Requirements:
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceMandated safety classesCompletion of the Slot Technical training and development program in the repair and maintenance of all electronic slot machines, Redemption kiosks, Racebook and cashiering equipmentCompletion of departmental training and improvement courses
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lightingMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust have the dexterity to service slot machinesMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to use an “in ear” communication deviceMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
