**Job Title: Garage Door Technician** **Job Description** We are looking for a garage door technician to join our team. The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead doors and their components. This role requires a strong mechanical and technical skill set, as well as excellent customer service abilities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm or until the job is done. You will drive to Worcester every morning in your personal vehicle to then get in a company work truck. **Responsibilities** + Install overhead doors and related components, including tracks, springs, and openers. + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing overhead doors. + Troubleshoot issues with overhead doors and provide effective solutions. + Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards. + Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions. + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects. + Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in overhead door technology. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical, Electrical skills + Troubleshooting abilities + Service and preventive maintenance experience + Hand tool proficiency **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus. + Proven experience in installing and servicing overhead doors is nice to have, and would reward more starting pay. + Strong mechanical and technical skills. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values your technical skills and dedication.
