ABOUT THE ROLE

Transportation Maintenance / Garage employees assist with maintenance of our trucks and transport carriers that deliver our homes and components for each of our unique Cavco brands. Transport Maintenance / Garage follow specified safety and maintanence processes that maximize the efficient delivering and setting of our high-quality products for our customers

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs inspections of vehicle and carriers prior to and following each trip. Keeps vehicle and carrier maintained and serviced as needed, including refueling, changing oil, changing tires and checking tire pressure, etc. Lights/electrical on carrier is in good working order and ready for transport. Follows appropriate safety procedures while maintaining vehicle and carriers. Assist yard attendant or other duties when instructed by supervisor or team lead.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School, GED, trade school or equivalent 1-2 years of Garage experience Safe Driving Record Must be able to work independently. Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
