Description Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is looking for a Garment Tech to join their team! The Garment Technician will be responsible for delivering, unloading, and organizing garments to their correct areas.  

Responsibilities

Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures Stop at risk behavior of others and self Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required Perform repetitive tasks Maintain clean work area and remove trash from garment room; may be required to remove trash from Cleanrooms Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules Take direction and respond to supervision Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner Fill in during staff shortage Staging Industrial garments in warehouse for delivery by drop zone and size  Delivery of clean Industrial garments to drop zones throughout campus  Removal of soiled bags from drop zones throughout campus Return of soiled bags to warehouse Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified. Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Compensation: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift - Thursday - Monday
