My client a leading global supplier are looking for a Garment Technologist to work within their Sportswear team based in Manchester.

You will be a key member of the dedicated Sportswear team, reporting directly to the Senior Account Manager. In this hands-on role within a small team, you will work with a variety of sportswear products, primarily focusing on women’s ranges, with some involvement in men’s apparel as well.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sportswear within the fashion industry and be an expert in fabrics, quality, and production specific to sportswear. They will possess strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting techniques, and the fitting process. Additionally, they will have a thorough understanding of consumer product safety requirements and be able to interpret legislation to ensure compliance.

This individual will be an excellent communicator, comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and efficient, they can meet tight deadlines while being proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Driven and results-oriented, they are proactive, positive, and solutions-focused. A degree in fashion design, business, or retail is preferred.
