Garnishment Coordinator

This position is looking for a candidate who is able to come on full-time for a direct hire position. This position requires fully vaccinated candidates and will convert to a hybrid work schedule after 2-3 months.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing timesheets for accuracy, coordinating corrections as neededProcessing weekly payroll in compliance with all Federal, State and County rules and regulations, including prevailing wage guidelinesSubmitting tax deposits as requiredCompleting all payroll related tax returns, including W-2s, 941, workers compensation reports and all other quarterly reporting in a timely mannerUpdating employee information for taxes, benefits, wage changes, garnishments, direct deposit information and other miscellaneous wage deductions in the payroll software and other platformsMaintaining employee benefit changes on carrier portals for new and current employees, as well as submitting termination updatesReconciling transactions, reviewing payroll records, maintaining employee personnel filesTracking leave requests, sending COBRA informationOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related fieldA minimum of three years of payroll experienceProficiency in Word, Excel and OutlookStrong organizational and time management skillsCritical thinking and problem solving skills
