What's in it for you? + **Role: Gas & Chemical Technician** + **100% On-Site @ Sunnyvale CA 94085** + **12+ Month Contract role.** + **Pay Range: $28-$30/hr.** + **Full time** + **Shift: M - F 7:00am - 3:30pm for the first 2 - 3 months for new hire training. After that they will be assigned to A, B, C D, 12hr. compressed shift (Day Shifts 7:00am - 7:30pm OR Night)** **Job Description:** + Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TV's Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including: + Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers + Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance + Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs + Support of quality systems. Occasionally climbing ladders (utilizing fall protection) + In some cases, Technicians must put on a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes + Basic lifting (up to 40lbs) + Bending of the knees and overhead reaching + PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc. Worker will be provided with vouchers to purchase safety boots, which they are required to wear If you have previous experience in Manufacturing, Gas and Oil, Chemical Technician, Industrial Mechanics, Production Technician, Bio-Tech, Automotive and Mechanics, Waste and Wastewater Treatment, Power Plant, or Refinery this could be a great fit for you!
