Under the direction of the Deployment Manager, the Gas Fitter Superintendent will oversee a team of Field Service Leads responsible for the installation of gas meters.
What You'll Do Here:
Oversee and guide a team of Field Service Leads (Gas Fitter Supervisors). Monitors the overall progress of the projects and takes corrective action where necessary. Responsible for implementing and monitoring of the company’s safety and environment policies and quality control plans. Monitor team performance, providing consistent feedback and coaching. Conduct performance assessments and implement necessary improvement plans. Ensure all installations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Investigate and resolve any safety incidents or compliance issues. Address escalated customer concerns and issues promptly. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and problem resolution. Cultivate a customer-centric culture within the team. Review and approve installation documentation and reports submitted by Field Service Leads and Representatives. Maintain accurate records of team activities and performance. Report on team performance and project status to the Deployment Manager. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.What You Bring to the Team:
Prior management and supervisory experience of teams is required. Class B gas fitting license valid in British Columbia is required. Experience in gas fitting is essential. Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract are required. Demonstrated strong leadership and management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. High technical and mechanical aptitude. Proficient in instruction and inspection tasks. Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory. Must be willing to travel as required and provide a clear driver’s abstract on an annual basis.
The expected pay range for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000.
