Join our team today. **Position Specific Description** This position is part of the growing RNG Team within NextEra Energy’s Power Generation Division. The Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) Gas Operations Technician must have solid written and verbal communication, technical, and analytical skills. The Gas Operations Technician should possess extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of landfill GCCS design, operations, and management. The role requires at least (3-5) years of relevant experience at U.S. landfills subject to Federal NSPS requirements. The GCCS- Gas Operations Tech must demonstrate a strong aptitude in mechanical work, understands relevant regulatory requirements, is experienced in reading and implementing GCCS plans, equipment operating and maintenance manuals, and schematics. **Job Overview** This job is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the pipeline and gathering systems on a day to day basis.
