Job Title: Gas Technician Job Description As a Gas Technician, you will be responsible for collecting, uploading, and reviewing data from wellfield monitoring events. You will tune individual wells based on data reviews and perform operation and maintenance (O&M) on various liquid management systems, including those driven by pneumatic or electric pumps. You will use PVC or HDPE piping materials and associated equipment to maintain piping systems. Additionally, you will develop a basic understanding of environmental regulations related to LFG and GCCS, adhere to job-related and site-specific health and safety requirements, and be available for on-call responses to GCCS-related malfunctions. Hard Skills + 2-3+ years of experience in landfill gas O&M or landfill construction experience + Monitoring pumps and gas wells + Reporting data collected from the field + Calibrating, operating, and maintaining electronic data collection devices Soft Skills + Adaptability + Comfortable with travel + Problem-solving + Attention to detail + Communication skills Work Site Travel role within the Southeast Work Environment This is a traveling role throughout the Southeastern region, with working hours typically from 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and some weekends as needed based on site conditions. The role demands flexibility to meet deadlines and requires presence on-site. You could work anywhere between 50-60 hours a week. Landfill site locations vary.
