The Gastrointestinal Account Executive is a front-line sales executive responsible for profitable growth in geographic area for specialized sales of the Gastrointestinal/Gastro Urology laboratory testing services of Quest Diagnostics. 

This is a field-based sales role covering the East Region. 

This is a field-based position covering the East Region.

At target, the compensation is $176,000 – $210,000. This includes a base salary and sales incentive. There is the potential to make higher, as the sales incentive is uncapped at Quest Diagnostics. Base salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

Responsible for supporting the AmeriPath/Quest practices by attaining sales targetsAligned, deployed around the core AmeriPath/Quest businesses which includes clinical, hereditary cancer testing, and tissue services for various call pointsDrive sales in assigned territory through targeting, pipeline development, growth of existing accounts, new lead generation and closes, and business development activitiesEffectively use productivity and marketing tools in the sales process.Primary responsibility is to drive growth in GI/URO physician practices through custom pathology solutions including digital pathology, AI, and traditional pathology.Owns the clinical testing in the call point which would include hereditary genetic solutions (e.g.: GI and Lynch Syndrome, GU and BRCA)Partner with PAE on clinical solutions 
Five or more years lab, diagnostics, or medical sales experience Track record of successful medical salesExperience selling to healthcare professionalsDemonstrated success managing customer relationshipsDemonstrated knowledge of sales processesDemonstrated subject matter expertise in anatomic pathology, oncology, molecular oncology, gastrointestinal, gastro urology and related cancer testing services

Knowledge:

Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.
