Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will exhibit a commitment to clinical excellence and innovation, and have a strong track record in research. Must participate in clinical or basic science research relevant to GI medical oncology and demonstrate a commitment to research as shown by submission and presentation of abstracts in residency and published manuscripts.
• Full-time position, working within an established team of physicians and nurses in an integrated, multidisciplinary department
• 6 full time faculty member
• Protected research/academic time
• Responsibility in assisting with growth of various clinical programs, including colorectal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, neuroendocrine, and gastro-esophageal cancers
• Primary clinical responsibilities will center on the care of gastrointestinal cancer patients
PAY & BENEFITS
Base Salary Range: $300K - $500K (The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.)

· The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
· ABIM board certification in medical oncology or hematology/oncology, with additional experience in Gastrointestinal Oncology
