The Inventory Gatekeeper is responsible for transporting finished products from assembly departments, and accurately entering them into the system, and physically moving them to their assigned location. They will utilize an electric pallet jack, handjack or forklift. The Inventory Gate Keeper must then audit pallets for proper labeling, check pallet quantity and check the WR (work receipt) transactions for accuracy. All information for both areas must then be entered into the computer system using Epicor 10.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Gatekeeper will run the Negative Report first thing each morning and work on getting them cleaned up as soon as possible. Cycle counts and checking Vantage transactions will be required to complete this task.Count the product as it passes through department / across the “Finish Line”.Check that product has the correct label and that the label is clearly visibly on the product.
Check product is packaged correctly.
Verify counts of product being received.
Check the Production Order the products belong to has the correct materials issued (to match the quantities being received) as well as the operations have the correct reported quantities. If this is not the case, these issues need to be resolved with Inventory Control and the Supervisors.Receive the Production Orders in Vantage into Stock using the designated temporary BIN locations. Print the Bin Stage Report at the end of the day and verify everything that has been moved from the finish line location has been transferred in the system. Mark the items that are still physically in the location on the report. Collect the clear packets used to hold the production travelers. These will need to be handed back to the planning department. These packets should be traveling with the product through the plant and accompany the product across the finish line.Review the Closed Job Candidates.Check the candidates to ensure all materials have been issued and operations have been closed out.
Change the job status to COMPLETE, this must be left in this state for 24 hours to allow any last minute labor edits to be confirmed.
24 hours later when repeating this process, start with the COMPLETE jobs first and mark them as closed.

Qualifications
Ability to read in interpret work orders.Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.Exceptional attention to detail and quality.Must also be willing to work flexible and overtime hours as needed.Team orientated.
