PRIMARY FUNCTION
Maintains the roads and grounds at Gila Bend AFAF
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Pick up trash and or debris daily around Gila Bend AFAF, operate gas powered equipment to maintain lawns, trees, Palm trees, and brush, (riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, chain saws, edger’s, and etc.) remove weeds from rock and plant areas on base, patch asphalt roads, crack seal roads , and minor repairs to concrete walkways and drive ways.
• Repair and or replace sprinklers, and PVC irrigation lines.
• Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma and or equivalent
• Must have at least one plus years of prior grounds maintenance experience
• Obtain and maintain a government security clearance
