Job Overview and Responsibilities

The incumbent will deliver Payroll Process Expertise according to the service catalog:

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

Under the guidance of the Global Payroll and Benefits SU Manager, he/she will perform following tasks:

Payroll design expertise and compliance management Lead the design and implementation of the global payroll policies (example: Global Profit Sharing, PSU, Bonus Cadres accruals) in the global payroll solution Lead the design and implementation of global time & payroll policies in the global payroll & time solution  Lead the design and implementation of any new global time & payroll solution from initiation to completion

 

The Global Payroll and Benefits Process Expert is accountable for service design, implementations, performance, improvements, automation, result, satisfaction and optimizing the cost to deliver.

 

Key responsibilities of Process Expert :



 

Process Ownership Design, improve and document global/local payroll processes and procedures to achieve business and users objectives in the most efficient and compliant way Analyze and identify opportunities to enhance our operational and financial performance Quantify the advantages and disadvantages of your optimization proposal and identify the key factors Benchmark to ensure alignment with World Class organization, process optimization and digitalization and best practices Drive collaboration and process change management between all functions and businesses Leverage technology and automation to enhance internal controls and streamline processes



 

Technology assessment, innovation and investment Act as functional / product owner of tools and applications supporting the process Work closely with stakeholders and internal/external partners (IT, Finance, RPA, Data and project teams) on solution development Be aware about the latest technology innovation in the domain



 

Create trusting partnership with stakeholders (internal or external) Be known and recognized by BSA stakeholders as process expert in the appropriate domain Communicate complex payroll concepts to non-experts and provide training and support Initiate and maintain improved collaboration, within the Service Unit and across GBS/BSA organization, to accelerate improvement

 

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Law, Accounting, ...or similar. Experience in payroll and time implementation and process mapping design Good knowledge of IT Tools (Word, Excel, ...), knowledge of SAP is a plus Being a team player who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and good time management Being curious and eager to improve his/her own knowledge Proactive and autonomous working style

 

Must-have skills

Good knowledge of payroll processes, regulations and systems Fluent in written English Attention to detail to maintain the highest operational standards

 

Must-have language skills

Fluent in English (written)
